This story will deal with the struggles they all face and how Lorelai, Rory, and Logan will have their lives change and how they are able to find happiness as they Take Back Control of their lives.

Or will he find himself falling in love with her as he finds himself clashing paths with her more than often?

This story is set in the future, which makes both Rory and Logan around their mid-forties. Despite having lived a large chunk of their lives just a few degrees of separation from each-other, they've never actually met (AU). At least not knowingly. They've both had their careers, relationships, as well as kids. Now at a new stage of their lives, they both find themselves away from their everyday lives at a fresh setting in Maine and their minds unusually idle, pondering what is the mystery behind this new person who seems to be just out of reach. Pregnancy, marriage, and a very classic fluffy love story is not the goal of this story. But I don't want to make this very angst-filled either, just... hoping to try something different. A more mature romance. Also I have no intention of painting the image of these two as flawless people - so I am sorry for that in advance if you don't approve of their present or past choices. But I do hope to show a stronger, more confident, Rory in this compared to some of my former stories. Rory has published her novel, "Gilmore Girls" and is beginning a book tour across the United States filled with interviews and media following her along the way. When she receives an interview with a known publishing company, "Huntzberger Publishing", repressed emotions come forward and the desire for closure is inevitable. Rory and Logan will once again meet where emotions will come to the surface and hijinks will ensue. The ending of Gilmore Girls left an unhappy and open ending that deserves closure. Was aber wäre wenn Ruby Bells Charakter ein bisschen weniger idealistisch und ein bisschen mehr materialistisch wäre? Wenn sie das Geld, dass James Beaufort ihr anbietet nicht etwa ablehnen würde, sondern stattdessen alles Mögliche versucht, um James bis auf den letzten Pfund auszuquetschen? Denn warum nach den Regeln spielen wenn das Spiel nie für dich ausgelegt war? Ich habe mir erlaubt eine kleine Parodie in dem Paralelluniversum Shmaxton Hall anzufertigen. In dieser verkörpert James Beaufork alles was an der Welt der Reichen nicht stimmt und Ruby Wuff verkörpert alles was mit G beginnt: Geldgierde, Gerissenheit, Gedankenschnelle und Gefechtsbereitschaft. Davon abgesehen will sie nicht nur nach Oxford sondern auf dem Weg dahin noch mächtig Kohle machen. Das sie James mit der Affäre seiner Schwester erpressen kann kommt ihr da grade recht, doch bald fliegen zwischen ihnen nicht nur die Geldscheine sondern auch die Funken... Aber kann eine Beziehung wie diese eine Zukunft haben?
