Sophia Parker gets chosen to be partners with her best friend, Jai Brooks, in a Health Class Assignment over the summer. They have to take care of a fake baby doll that cries and does everything a real baby does. While staying with the Brooks for the assignment Sophia tries to get closer to her new crush Beau Brooks, also known as Jai's older brother. A summer full of first kisses, heartbreaks, mental breakdowns and most of all first love.

A few years have passed and Skyla has moved back to Sydney for a job in the city being a fashion designer, meanwhile Beau stayed back in Melbourne getting into more trouble than ever.
