He gently placed her back onto her feet, whipping a knife out of his belt. He pushed Brenna behind him protectively. Backing away with caution, Brenna could only watch as the suspense rose. "Don't make me do this," Steve pleaded, his voice sounding tired. But Bucky was gone once again, taken control of by the Winter Soldier. And the only thing that mattered now was completing his mission. The two lunged for each other. ' • • • Brenna Halliday Stark. She'd never dreamed that one day she would have superpowers; that one day, she would kill. One day, she would fall in love with an assassin under the control of HYDRA. But it happened. Ormai erano passati anni dalla guerra civile, ma Bucky sembra ancora freddo e privo di emozioni, l'Hydra aveva fatto solo danni con lui. Bucky vorrebbe più di ogni altra cosa cambiare, tornare il vecchio Bucky di una volta, felice e spensierato, ma sembra che nulla gli sia concesso. Dal caratterino molto difficile. Karim ama le sfide più di ogni altra cosa, competitiva quasi come il fratello, se non di più. Ma se Steve scoprisse dell'esistenza di una nipote che di cognome fa Barnes, come la prenderà il nostro paladino americano all'idea di essere diventato ZIO!. Ma soprattutto Karim riuscirà a riprendersi Bucky?

When Captain America goes to find the Winter Soldier, she is the one responsible for him when he returns. While Morgan is working with him, other events arise from her past that could possibly affect the team and most of all, Bucky. How could she help the person who killed her parents? How would her brother feel about the unwanted guest? How could she guarantee everyone's safety, let alone her own?
