⚠️ CURRENTLY UNDER EDITS/REWRITES⚠️ In the world of high school theatre politics, it's basically law that somebody gets overlooked. And unfortunately, Kiara, Heaven, Iris, and Sierra know the law all too well. When Heaven loses a writing competition, she finally decides she's had enough, and starts writing her new project: a play based off of her best friends' love lives. But what happens if there's no happy ending? 🌈 rated R*: heavy topics on racism, colorism, & toxic relationships 🏆 #23 on firstboyfriend 🏆 #13 on dramatique 🏆 #41 on theatrekid 🏆 #195 on crushimagines 🌈AUTHOR'S NOTE: This book describes many personal experiences me and my friends have had both in theatre and with liking people haha. This came about because I was very frustrated with the lack of girly/dainty dark-skinned black female characters in the media I love + no one ever really talking about how hard it is to constantly deal with micro aggressions, and the way most people write these types of characters as people. I myself am mixed: I'm black & Filipino!

𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐬 is only thirteen, and her ballet career is already in decline. Between the low views on her YouTube videos, and the ruthless bullying from her fellow dancers, she realizes she has to take a leap of faith if she wants to achieve her dream: becoming a Prima Ballerina. Luckily, her chance arrives when a solo audition opens up for her class recital. But the second she takes that leap, a twisting pain she's been ignoring for years finally comes back to haunt her. If Juliana even has a chance at getting better, she has to be willing to rethink her entire life. 🏆 #259 in surgery 🏆 #76 in teenwriter 🏆 #427 in storytelling 🏆 #161 in ballerina 🌸🌷🌸🌷🌸🌷🌛🌷 🩰RATED | PG: addresses topics such as mortality, parental guidance, abuse, control, love, and graphic detail 🩰AUTHOR'S NOTE: I myself have only taken ballet 1, so it might not be entirely accurate! 🩰WORKS CITED: I'd like to thank my dancing friends for the ballet info! I also used the American Girl book 'Isabelle' by Laurence Yep as a reference for Chapter Two.
