𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐬 is only thirteen, and her ballet career is already in decline. Between the low views on her YouTube videos, and the ruthless bullying from her fellow dancers, she realizes she has to take a leap of faith if she wants to achieve her dream: becoming a Prima Ballerina. Luckily, her chance arrives when a solo audition opens up for her class recital.
But the second she takes that leap, a twisting pain she's been ignoring for years finally comes back to haunt her. If Juliana even has a chance at getting better, she has to be willing to rethink her entire life.

🩰RATED | PG: addresses topics such as mortality, parental guidance, abuse, control, love, and graphic detail
🩰AUTHOR'S NOTE: I myself have only taken ballet 1, so it might not be entirely accurate!
🩰WORKS CITED: I'd like to thank my dancing friends for the ballet info! I also used the American Girl book 'Isabelle' by Laurence Yep as a reference for Chapter Two.
