After an incident where Sonic loses control and goes Dark, Knuckles convinces Tails that it's time for Sonic to have inhibitors, like the ones Shadow has. Now stuck with the restrictive rings, Sonic must learn to live with their strange feeling. But he has to wonder... are they really working as intended? In the wake of Eggman's defeat and the truce with Super, said hedgehog now has to start his greatest challenge. Learning how to be a person. After all, emotions are a lot for a guy who thought all he needed in life was to cause destruction. He'll adjust, the road just won't be smooth. --- This is a series of one shots that all occur after the main story of Chaos Uncontrolled. These occur more or less in a chronological format and basically show Super trying to adapt to his new situation, and everything that brings.

When a freak accident splits them up, Sonic, Shadow, Silver, and Scourge have to put aside their differences and team up; their lives could depend on it.

Sonic had always viewed his super form as something positive; something that gave people hope. A nice trump card in an otherwise losing situation or a nice safety net to keep for the right moment. The emeralds might be hard to track down sometimes but in the end it had always been worth it. So why did he feel a sense of dread when looking at them now? Something was wrong.

The cover art was drawn by me! You know how it goes: Sonic, turned Werehog, recovers the Chaos Emeralds and pieces the world back together again with his companion Chip as the two team up to seal away Dark Gaia from destroying it. This story is different though, for it's not what you think it is. What if Sonic had to become Dark Gaia to save the world? Instead of losing the energy zapped into him, Sonic absorbs more of it to the point where he transforms into Dark Gaia itself after loosing his Werehog form. With the last bit of his sanity, Sonic sacrifices himself to save the world that he once knew and loved, casting away his old life in the process. The years pass with many thinking that Sonic is, well, dead. Except for his friends. They want to find the proof that he's still alive, and that they can bring him home safely. During those years, Sonic has grown attached to his new life as Dark Gaia, the Earth god of darkness, counterpart to Light Gaia, and caretaker of Abyss. Sonic one day hoped to return home, but knows that he can't, which was the only con about his new life. The pros being that he had Chip, his son Lucius, and Abyss with him through thick and thin, as well as being able to perform magic. When Sonic finds out that he could travel to the surface world and change back into his normal self, he does so to be reunited with his friends. Now Sonic must face the challenge of balancing his double life as the famous blue hero on the surface and being Dark Gaia underground. He has to keep this all a secret from his friends, including his nemesis Dr. Eggman, but can he do so before they find out?
