book 2 Adelaide is living a life not quite worthwhile due to a series of unfortunate events. The suicide note that was left from her mother haunts her every move, begging her to escape and find her long-lost brother. She knows that she must find a way to get back to Avonlea, her home, but the orphanage makes that undeniably impossible, or so she thinks... Follow Adelaide on yet another euphoric journey, through finding herself and reuniting with her friends.

The sun warmed Y/n's face as she leaned back with a sigh, letting the freshness of spring consume her. She would let it take her whole if she didn't need to be back at Aunt Diana's so soon. Something brushed across her face, causing the girl to crack an eye open. It was Gilbert. He held a blue flower to her face, unknowing to Y/n, trying to catch her attention. "Anything you need, Blythe?" She questioned, admiring the way his hair ruffled in the slight breeze. "I'm only admiring you." He grinned, pulling the flower from her face, only to replace it with a hand. Different was the only word you could use to describe the girl known as Adelaide King. She never fit in with the other girls her age, and absolutely hated following rules. Adelaide was forced by her mother to wear fancy dresses and act as proper as she possibly could, but her personality always managed to get the best of her and land her right into trouble. For that reason entirely, Adelaide is forced to move schools, closer to the quaint town of Avonlea. She meets new friends, curious boys, and finds that life can be truly wondrous.
