They turned against eachother, anyone who was different was considered an outcast, disregarded. One day a child was born glowing and that started the new era. The era of quirks or super powers if you will. Izuku and Nezu slowly started to introduce theirselves into society. It took a hundred years before people started to shun those who did not have this supernatural ability. Nezu had fully introduced himself, and because of his high intellect became the principal of a school. Izuku couldn't bring himself to the people. He was disgusted by them.
