SUMMER I'm trying to learn to control my newly-dicovered powers, but that is difficult when night terrors and black outs plague my every waking hour. I am broken from lack of sleep and a constant terror that i don't want to admit: I'm afraid to loose Jack again. But when Merida returned from her kingdom, I thought everything might finally get better. I was wrong... HICCUP I don't know what's wrong with me. My vision is blurry and spotted, and I have a headache that feels like it's crushing my skull. It is probably just a hallucination from pain, but i hear voices in my head whispering my fears and deepest wishes. What's going on? Maybe i just need to calm down and go to Merida's coming back party... JACK I'm sweating, which is impossible. I can't get hot. And i feel like the room is spinning around me. Everyones voices sound like they are under water and a roaring penetrates the back of my mind. I need to tell Summer and see is her magic can figure out what's going on, but i don't want to ruin Merida's return for her. What is happening to me...

I stood above him in my dream, watching myself cry. tears streaming out of my eyes as the blood flowed. His eyes were glassy and cold. His breath came in gasps and my heart stopped. I carressed his face face in my hand. Hiccup sat behind me, his face blank and shocked. "Jack, please don't leave me... Fight for me, please! You are my best friend!" he smiled weakly. "I can see my sister, Summer, and someday I will see you again, too. I love you..." My dream changed and I saw Hiccup, his hands spread against glass. Tears streamed down his face and he was praying. His eyes were focused on something behind me, but before I could turn to look my vision flashed and I saw myself, carrying Paintsplash through the air. Cuts covered us both and my arm was covered in black, veins popping out of my skin. I strained as I flew, but my wings gave way and I fell into darkness. "AAAAH!!" I woke up screaming in my room, and Jack came rushing in. Hiccup and Merida came shortly after. The boys ran over and Jack took my hand. "Hey, are you ok Summer? What happened?" I nodded shakily. "J-just a nightmare. It wasn't real, it couldn't happen anyway." I sighed and looked around the room at my friends. They were all safe and sound... So why did I get the feeling that I was about to lose everything?

She wakes up on a burning hillside. How can this be possible? Who is she? This story follows a girl named Summer, a new guardian with some extrordinary powers, but she has no time to settle in at the north pole, for Jack Frost, a boy she has never met (or so she thinks) is missing.
