I really loved EK up to episode 19, after that, they made Sanem act too childish, awkward and unworthy of being a strong and intelligent woman. From then on, and especially the scene at the hut where Can lost it, I almost felt insulted that a young woman could be portrayed in such a weak and stupid way; and that she would blame herself after a man would treat her with so much violence and disrespect. I am slowly learning to like the character of Can again but mostly felt the need to write my ''dream'' version of EK after Sanem tells Can ''you have decided to leave, good bye''. I like happy ending don't worry, but Can won't have it easy!!! I own no rights over characters, and I am not a frequent writer apart from uni and work assignments/reports😊 oh and I am not a native English speaker. Yigit is not Polen's brother in this story, because it was utterly RIDICULOUS!!!! Lol

Book 2 of 3 Sanem has one fear and that is to somehow lose Can again to a threat that is yet unarmed an unknown. She will do whatever necessary to protect him, even if it means to tear her heart in half. She will never betray him and when it would seem that his love for her had died on a mountain of suspicion she would bury the pain in her heart if that would save his life. To live without him in order to save him would mean she would have have to declare it in open court. It could an empire apart. Can will not allow another tragedy to befall Sanem. She has gone through hell and back and he will kill anyone who thinks they can take her from him. He will trust her even when his eyes deceive him. Even at his own peril. He will never let her go. To live without her would mean to die a slow death. The Empire and the people dependent on it will surely do without him but he could never do without her. Huma's reach beyond the grave was her final revenge. A house in chaos, a family destroyed and a secret long held. These finally contrive and come together in one person. He has lived his whole life for the moment he could claim wha belonged to him. Tragedy would have its day first but then their would be a reckoning and he would see to it that the one who had ordered it be done would watch as all that mattered to him slowly was taken away. He never anticipated her. She could ruin it all. Her combination of stubbornness, loyalty, faith and love could tear down his carefully constructed walls. Sacrificing her had never been the plan. He would have a life altering decision to make. Our Albatross and Phoenix have set their course and we will follow them as they live a Legendary Love. Inspired by my love for Erkenci Kus and it's main characters Sanem Aydin and Can Divit and the incredible actors that portrayed them Demet Ozdemir and Can Yaman.

One-shot: My wishful thinking for an end to episode 48 based on the first fragman

Here is the story of Sanem Aydin and Can Divit. It will be different but, some parts of EK will be thrown in. When two people are pushed to the side by their Families. One becomes a world known Traveler/Photographer, while the other starts the making of a scent that becomes one to never forget. How will their path cross and will they find that missing hole deep in their heart? Will they ever get past the pain of the past? Will they be able to move on and find their true happiness and help each other heal? Get ready for many twist and turns before things finally settle down between Can and Sanem.

10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. But that would be the last time that would ever happen to her. 10 minutes more and she's be flying over her homeland and away from her heartache. 10 minutes later she was falling asleep with a sob choking her to escape and tears burning behind her eyes. 10 minutes later and she was being carried to the bedroom at the back of the jet in the arms of the man she had crushed on so many years ago and who had swept in like a hero to save her. In 10 minutes she would be his if only he would ask. 10 minutes or less. 10 minutes was all it took to see him drunk. 10 minutes later Can Divit had a companion. 10 minutes more was all he needed to get the blond into his bed. 10 minutes was all it took to realize he had made a horrible mistake, but his ego and his pride wouldn't let him turn around and go back. When he finally came to his senses after swimming in his own guilt for weeks on end he all but ran to buy a ticket back home but he was 10 minutes too late. Flights were sold out. For the next 10 minutes he called her number but there was no response. The night would be endless but when he finally made it back he may as well have been a ghost. It was his fault he knew it and he was prepared to crawl back on hands and knees. He begged for 10 minutes of her time. Just 10 minutes to explain but she was gone and it would take what felt like a lifetime before he saw her again. 10 minutes to fall in love again. Will that be enough time to change the course of a love story once again. Sanem Aydin and Can Divit will discover if love lasts a lifetime or if 10 minutes was all they had left.

This story is inspired by the Turkish series Erkenci Kuş and its protagonists; I have taken some of the characters and their roles in the novel to create it, so it may bear some similarity to the plot we saw on screen. ______ Can and Sanem are two free souls whose paths cross by chance one random night, where, unsuspectingly, they will mark the beginning of a story they were not prepared for.
