Summary: Stiles is loosing hope for himself after his father starts getting drunk and abusing him. Derek finds out and tries to help but Stiles keeps pushing him away. Better than the summary because I suck at writing summaries, really who doesn't though? Derek's family never died in a fire, he still lives in Beacon Hills but they live else where.

stiles has a secret life no one knows about one thats dangerous and could could himself or the people he loves hurt. When he retires he stops useing his skills for fear of some one being will he face the past when his friends are in danger or will he keep pretending to be helpless.
