You have to bring out your inner baseball skills and show of these boys, catching the eyes of one in particular. Its 1973. 15 year old Melina's parents both left to travel the world last year, she hasn't heard from either of them since. She now lives with her older brother, Eric, who is 24 years old. She usually only interacts with her best friend Ivanna, but when a boy catches her eye, her life drastically changes for the better.

"Please don't go. We all need you... I need you." Ella Moore was visiting her grandma over the summer. She becomes fast friends sandlot boys since they all shared a passion for playing baseball. Although she had a boyfriend back in Texas, she couldn't help but fall for the best player in California, Benny Rodriguez. At the end of the summer, she's forced to choose whether to stay or go back to her life in Texas.
