After five years of being away from each other, Selin and Demir suddenly meet at a party of a common friend of theirs. Throughout these five years many things happened in the lives of both of them. Selin got in a relationship that later broke her, and Demir... His life changed drastically. Soon after they meet for the first time, their feelings for each other begin to slowly reappear and soon after this, they renew their relationship, turning it into a really hot and passionate one. Being back together, they face many different things and challenges which could be a test for their love.

Arik Boke Omer Erdenet, eager to make a life for himself on his own merit and away from the darkness of his family, establishes a shoe design company with his best friend since college, Sinan. He succeeds in leaps and bounds and his life is going well. He is the best shoe designer in Turkey and he is deeply in love with Defne, his assistant turned girlfriend, but his past has refused to stay there and comes stampeding through his immaculate life. NB!!! Most of the Characters are not my own creation and their backgrounds are inspired by multiple Turkish series. NB: Pardon any missed grammar issues and plot holes, guys. It's just a story I just wanted to write when I was an avid viewer of Turkish series and I have been sitting on it for over a year. It's not finished and I hope I finish it at some point, but I will share what I have in the meantime. The idea of a combined alternate universe intrigued me. Hope you enjoy it.

Konuşurken titreyen sesine engel olmamaştı kadın, bir yandan gözyaşları sicim sicim işlerken karşındaki adamın gözlerindeki pişmanlık duygusunu göz ardı etmişti kadın. "Defne lütfen dinle beni..." Çaresizce başını iki yana salladı genç kadın. Göz yaşları yanağından sicim sicim akyordu iki eliyle akan yaşlarını sildi, soğuk sesi ile konuştu. "En başından beri umutlandırdın beni, neden izin verdin sana aşık olamama?" Karşısındaki adam bir şey diyemedi sustu sadece. İşte o suskunluk kadını mahvetmişti... "Zaten beni birinin sevmesi... Sevse seni annem baban severdi zaten sende beni sevmemekle çok haklısın,Ben olsam bende sevmem kendimi Merak etme bir daha karşına bile çıkmam..." Adam kadına bir adım daha attı aralarındaki mesafeyi kapattı kadına yaklaştı kadının kokusu ile aklı başından giderken gözlerini kapatmıştı. "Gitme... Sen olmasan yapamam ben sen beni karanlıktan aldın güneşe alıştırdın, sen benim güneşim oldun Defne..." "Benden sana güneş olmaz ben seni ısıtmam benden sana olsa olsa kış güneşi olur Ömer. Özür dilerim..." Gözlerini açtı adam kadına baktı uzun uzun ve kadının ağzından çıkan kelimeler ile bir kere daha yıkıldı adam. "Ben seni herkesten farklı sanmıştım seninle ilgili çok güzel hayaller kurmuştum. Meğersem sende herkes gibiymişsin Ömer İplikçi..." Arkasına bile bakmadan gitti kadın. Ve kadın o gün bir kere daha kimseye güvenmesi gerektiğini anlamıştı. Kalbi acıyı böylesine ilk kere tamamıştı bu zamana kadar Akan gözyaşlarını sildi kadın, adamla kavuşmalarının imkansız olduğunu bir kere daha anlamıştı... ~~~~ Hayat dışarıdan göründüğü gibi güzel miydi, yoksa göründüğü gibi değil miydi. When Demir loses his business, in the midst of Turkey's financial crisis, he struggles to find paid work that will cover his sister's university expenses. Looking outside of his profession, desperate to ensure that his sister can continue her education, Demir attends an unexpected interview to be a driver and personal assistant to Elif, a young heiress. Hired by her grandmother, who sees something in the humble Demir, he struggles to connect with Elif, lost and broken by a tragic past, unable to move forward without Demir's help. Finding purpose in his new role, Demir becomes attached to the mysterious woman, determined to help her regain her own purpose and freedom. Whilst their unacknowledged attachment grows, so does the danger posed by a dark secret from Demir's past, a secret with the ability to kill.

After the wedding, Omer retreats to Rome to clear his head and get as far away from everyone who had betrayed him. Whilst there, a turn of events prevents him from coming home, even if he had wanted to. One year later, Sinan tracks Omer down, in the hope that they can finally talk. But the Omer that Sinan finds, is not the Omer that walked away from his friends and family after the wedding.
