phoebe collin's and mathew sturniolo have been close friends since middle school. they moved in together along either his two brothers chris and nick. matt and phoebe have always had a special bond. their family and close friends have always shipped them due to their close bond. When they were younger they had a cute little crush on each other that they didn't need to speak about cause they sort of both new. High school they both grew distant after Phoebe's parents divorced and her father started drinking and life became hard for her. After that once they turned 18 they all moved in together. Tension slowly starts building up as feelings get brought back into both of their hearts.

Riley, a 19 year old girl who has divorced parents. She lives in Boston with her mom, but goes to New York on weekends to visit her dad.
