A spin-off from 'The Trouble On Your Lips' and 'Hush Hush' centered around Oliver Sykes from the series. Oliver has found himself in some trouble and is sent off to jail for two months. While he's there he's shocked to find out that Mr. Josh Franceschi, his teacher who he had an affair with in high school, and who he subsequently sent to jail, is serving time with him.

In a dystopian world where technology has ruined everything a small civilization strictly controlled by it's government managed to break through the land of toxicity and wilderness creating a small realm of safety for the remaining people to live in. Oli Sykes, being one of the few people that see the holes in the government's rules, yet being a teenager at the same time, couldn't help but try to unravel his suspicions with proof. Eventually caught in a world where you do something against the rules and get banished or sold as a slave, Oli finds himself enslaved for nobody else but the leader of the city alone - President Franceschi, who along with his whole family, Oli hates with a burning passion. But when he oddly catches the eye of his son Josh, Oli discovers that hate and love are just two sparks dancing on the same line of gasoline.
