To put it simply, Nightwing is poisoned and he calls the Bat Cave for help. Complications arise, and, well... If you ever need a sprinkle of feels, you came to the right place. One-shot.

Dick Grayson was known as the open, cheerfully and caring older brother of the bat family but lately, the family has started to notice skills no one in the family got taught that he has or habits he shouldn't have. But asking him, to tell the truth, seems to be impossible as he has quite a talent for deflecting away from the subject so it seems they may have to do research on this particular topic.

Jason hasn't spoken to his family in months, it takes a near death situation for him to realise that he should reconnect with them, especially his older brother. ~ This short story was originally posted on Tumblr on @couldbeyouraphrodite's account. I only own the plot, characters and fictional places are owned by DC. ~ I wrote this short story within one week, or more specifically, the last week of July 2021. It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---

Dick Grayson, older brother to three insufferable younger brothers (who he loves very much) and Gotham City's most eligible bachelor (or was it second? He didn't really keep track). Of course he had plans for a fine Saturday night. Getting called out by Gotham's own maniacal terrorist -- The Joker; yes, the Joker -- on national television, was not one of them. If that wasn't bad enough, now the Joker had all of Gotham City's criminals -- or more than half of the population -- right under his thumb. And you guessed it; now all of them are out to get the Wayne brothers! But the Wayne boys are more than just pretty faces and pockets overflowing with money; they are the Batman's protégés, the elusive elite band of vigilantes who fight crime and protect the city every night. With all of Gotham's worst criminals after them though, protecting their secret identities will be a challenge. So Batman has decided to call in the Young Justice team to help protect his sons. The Young Justice team came in expecting to be protecting some rich kids who had the misfortune to catch the eye of the Joker. What they hadn't been expecting was the utter chaos that was the Wayne household. Also available on Archive of our Own, under the same title and username!

Robin was by far the most secretive of the teen titans, but despite not being open with his team, he cared for them... When fighting against someone with unknown magical abilities Robin takes a hit that had been meant for Raven, making Batman's life a whole lot more interesting.

Barry Allen wasn't adopted by Joe West. There was an issue. "Conflict of interest" they called it. Barry Allen seemed to disappear into the darkness of Gotham. In his place, Barry Wayne, the mysterious third son of billionaire Bruce Wayne. When he returns to his hometown and lightning strikes, things change. And of course being part of a family of vigilantes means things are quite a bit more complicated. Lines that in another life would be clear are blurred but one remains true. Family is everything. At the end of the day, birds will always return to the nest.
