Heatwave is the leader of the sigma 17 rescue team on the small island of Griffin Rock. He deals with rescues everyday, unruly criminals, and even his own surly partner. But the one thing that he can't seem to deal with is his own feelings. Ever since Quickshadow, a smart, beautiful femmebot spy comes to Griffin Rock to join the Rescue Bots, Heatwave can't take his mind off her. He worries she won't feel the same way he feels towards her. Worst of all, he doesn't want to admit his feelings to his team, much less her. While he's helping Quickshadow with some matters back on the mainland, can he really tell the spark of his life how he feels? Quickshadow is an independent femmebot, conquering mission after mission until she's summoned to work with the Rescue Bots on Griffin Rock. At first, it seems like an easy job, until she meets the strong, super handsome rescue bot leader, Heatwave. She knows these feelings are unprofessional, yet can't seem to get her mind off of him, and worries that if he finds out about the dark secrets of her past, he may never love her. UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION Roses. Quickshadow had always found those flowers beautiful; and they were so intricate, layer upon layer of petals. She knew nothing about this newspark, or how it came to be born, or what in the name of Primus happened to its carrier--but that was all waiting to be unveiled, just like slowly peeling the petals off of a gorgeous crimson flower. - Things take a turn for the worst when the newest rescue bot finds an abandoned newspark, who she lovingly names Rose, in the woods on the Mainland. Quickshadow decides to take it upon herself to care for Rose while she and the rescue team begin the search for the sparkling's creators. Some of the bots aren't so fond of her plan at first. The tension between Heatwave and Quickshadow thickens when a few pent-up feelings are brought to light, and they quickly begin to realize that they need to set aside their differences (and maybe their emotions) in order to keep the team together as major problems begin to surface. Adopting a helpless, abandoned sparkling doesn't seem so complicated at first, but this one happens to have a dangerous secret, one none of them know. And when that secret casts over the team in a dark shadow with questionable motives and a mysterious links to her past, Quickshadow has to make one of the most difficult choices in her functioning: give up her one chance to save someone she thought she'd lost, or risk everything to protect her new-found family. A transformers prime fanfic (Knockout x Breakdown) Cascade has grown older, but he still has a lot to learn. No larger than Breakdown's pede, he has a ton of growing to do. He loves to explore the Nemesis and annoy others, which constantly gets him into trouble. Starscream (who he has now deemed 'Uncle Screamy') gets highly annoyed every time he sees him. Megatron tolerates him, even teaching him how to break a mech's wrist in one move and how to dislocate a knee joint. Knockout doesn't approve of course, but Breakdown thinks it's good for him to learn. ---- As Cascade grows older, however, his curiosity grows with him. He wants to explore the world at his own pace without having Knockout or Breakdown constantly watching him. But when he stumbles upon something from his parents' past, questions start to burn in his processor.
