Katie Ballard was never excited to move, never excited to make new friends, never excited to do anything with her aunt and uncle, and was never expecting what going to happen to her in the town of San Fernando Valley. Since it was Summer, it made Katie and her "brother" Scotty's life a bit easier. While Scotty tries to make friends, Katie stays home, hoping something will a happen.
