Izuku doesn't cry. He is a weapon, and weapons don't weep. He won't cry until the battle, when he's falling through the air, when it settles in just how real it is that he's going to die, because yeah, the doctor warned him this would happen, but there's always been a part of Izuku that thought he'd live forever. Just like his father told him. Or, how a few heroes help Midoriya Izuku become something more than a lost vigilante. 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙜𝙚𝙚𝙠𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙧

Three years he spent on that godforsaken island. Three years running for his life and fighting tooth and nail for survival against creatures that should be nothing more than fossils. Three years of sharpening his instincts and senses into a weapon all their own. And finally, after three years, he had the opportunity to chase his dream. And he'd be damned if he let the opportunity pass him by. UA would have to handle him, ready or not. Midoriya Izuku was going to take the world of heroics by storm.

When he was a kid, Midoriya Izuku was hit by an unknown Quirk. He was found a few days later, unharmed. He was gone for just a few days to the world, and he never told anyone where he'd been. Who would believe that he'd been sent back in time several hundred years to the Pre-Quirk Era? That he'd been adopted by a pair of circus performers who gave him the name Richard Grayson? That he, Quirkless Midoriya Izuku, had become Robin, the Boy Wonder, famed partner to the Old Hero, Batman. Yeah. Nobody was going to believe that. At least he could become a LEGAL hero, now.

Midoriya Izuku becomes a vigilante. Maybe it's the hero complex, maybe it's the guilt, or maybe it's the ever growing need for a hero to stick up for the little guys; none of that matters, except for the fact that he's there. And he's going to save them all. "Them", notably being the insomniac we know and love, Shinsou Hitoshi, the mechanic, Hatsume Mei, and our resident pretty boy, Todoroki Shouto.

"Even if I don't have a quirk, can I bee a hero?" Silence... "Without a quirk?" "If you want to help others, then you could also become a police officer, or a nurse." And he may have been right, maybe he couldn't be a hero without a quirk, but that entirely depends on your definition of a hero. Is it the legal definition? A person employed under agencies to deal with villains? Or is it the noun? A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities? The media eats the Vigilante Valor's story up. His name literally meant brave, and he showed that bravery. He even recorded it and posted it online, the crazy bastard. Obviously, the media loves a young bad boy with a good heart and a mysterious identity, and it doesn't take long for him to become internet-famous.

Star light, star bright, the first time I've seen the stars in all my life. If I wish I may, if I wish I might, make a wish on the stars I've seen for the first time tonight...... Born and raised in the Shie Haisaikai facility, Izuku Midoriya doesn't know his own name. He doesn't know of mothers and fathers, or oceans and deserts. He only knows of the man with the pointed mouth, the bloody chair with leather straps, training, and stars. Izuku doesn't know anything about feelings, but he does know he loves stars, if his one book is correct about them. And then there's Eri. At first, Izuku hates Eri, and is jealous. She has a name, and many more books than him. She has odd plastic things called toys, and doesn't have to do training. She only has to do the chair, whereas he has to fight random people and kill them. But.... Eri knows how to smile, and cry. And Izuku.... he kind of likes smiles and tears. Two years pass, and Izuku learns to love Eri. But then she stops knowing how to smile. And so Izuku runs away with Eri, into the big wide outside, where he's never been before. But it's hard, living in the outside world trying to protect Eri and her smile. And eventually, he'll have to protect someone named Kota's smile as well, as well as keep some dog that won't leave them alone safe. But Izuku can do it. Even if he doesn't know his own name, or what the heck an ocean is. Because Izuku has the stars to guide him. Even if the stars are just plain unhelpful sometimes. ☆~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~☆ "We're going outside, Eri. We're going to see the stars."

Non-Despair AU. KomaHina. Trigger/Content Warnings will be included. Cover art and characters do not belong to me. Nagito Komaeda has Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and it's a constant struggle for him to do what may seem like basic tasks to other people, since his brain can't help but obsess over the worst-case scenario in harmless situations. Even something as small as touching a pencil can send Nagito into a severe panic attack. Nagito feels constantly lonely, but he may not be alone for much longer...

They had caught him, thinking that mere handcuffs could contain his quirk. They kept him under constant supervision, knowing that he could escape and kill them at any given opportunity. They tried talking to him, helping him, believing they could break the young villain. They offered him a chance to redeem himself, hoping he would take it. There was only one small problem they faced... Deku would not allow himself to break. (⚠️ WARNING!!! This book contains elements of suicide, panic attacks, and the deaths of family members. It's dark, cold and damp. The sound of screams echoed far and wide. He sat in the middle of it, hands on his ears. His voice weak and frightened. He never asked to have this gift. A gift? No. It was a curse.
