Al-Haitham hums, sitting back in his seat. His eyes get that look they always do when he's thinking- at least that had stayed the same- before he put his hands in his pockets. "You can stay with me, if you'd like," he says all too casually as he pulls a hand back out his pocket. "For the time being," he adds on a little too quickly, "until you manage to get yourself out of the mess you've made." Kaveh was about to open his mouth to protest. Like he'd ever take an offer from him, especially with that attitude. But then Al-Haitham slides a key across the table to him-golden, with emerald embellishments, a carbon copy of the soulmark on Kaveh's arm- and the words on his lips dissipate into the warm tavern air. soulmate au with art by @art_iram21!! :)

This is exciting news, so of course the two lovebirds get together. Their new dynamic is quite exciting, and so many new feelings to explore... Except for when the news hit.

After kaveh moved in with alhaitham they keep arguing over small details... insignificant Details... but this time... haitham went too far...

Kaveh has been living with Alhaitham for many years now, and they have barely been apart. Alhaitham has always felt different around Kaveh, like he mattered way more than anyone else. His friends tell him that he's most likely in love with Kaveh, but Alhaitham denies. Kaveh, on the other hand, feels the same way. He feels safe around Alhaitham and never wants to leave his side. He is debating the fact that he loves Alhaitham. Whilst the two lover boys are contemplating how they feel about each other, Kaveh is working on his project, which is a model of a building. He is making it for somebody in Mondstadt who offered him a lot of money if he did a good job. Will Kaveh be able to pay off his debt and move out of Alhaitham's house?
