[LAMS college AU] John Laurens, an ordinary South Carolinian college student, makes an online friend named AnotherScottishTragedy. When John discovers that his online friend is the famous writer Alexander Hamilton, he is starstruck. He is amazed that someone as brilliant as Alexander would want to be friends with him. But when John's feelings for Alexander begin to go beyond friendship, things take a turn for the worst. John can't love Alex, can he? Because Alex is too good for him, isn't he?

Alexander Hamilton has recently been accepted into King's College, and he's scared. He's never had friends growing up, and has too much to say at once. But will his overly energetic room mate change his views of the future ahead of him?
