The royal family of Antarctic empire isn't exactly close. Emperor Philza is always occupied; Tommy hasn't seen Techno in months, and even if Wilbur is here, in the capital, their relationship can be described to be strained at best. The royal family doesn't need to be close, however, it only needs to be balanced, like the pillars holding the country above their heads - as long as they are strong and steady, the Empire will be too. It's the principle that held Tommy's back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father's gaze would look past him and where his brother's words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache. At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo. ~🦋~ Tommy's family has replaced him. "I would have hunted them down with you, Philza, the people who did that to your town. I would have given you your vengeance on a silver platter. I would have given you the world." Zak has always wondered about when he would be able to see the color of the sky, or the grass or even his mother's eyes. All his life, he's lived surrounded by shades of white, black and grey. He longed to see what the world around him truly looked like, and when that day would come. Darryl has become used to the bland world he lived in, no longer imagining what his hair color was, or the color of his dog's fur. Any mention of color in conversation made him completely close off and turn into an emotionless being. Tommy was an only child and the only person left to rule. After his parents died, he has had a hard time coping with the fact that he will be king in a couple days. Phil, Techno, And Wilbur help him prepare, but they won't be able for too long. Hopefully he'll last until then.

"Why?" Tommy sobbed, fingers clinging to the fabric of Philza's suit. Fat globs of tears fell down his cheeks and dripped onto his neck as he was forced down on the couch. "I don't want to be turned, please!" he cried, only for his words to be ignored as he was hoisted onto Philza's lap. Gentle fingers combed through his hair and words of comfort spewed from the vampires lips in a futile attempt to calm him. His tear-filled vision made out a hand that landed gently on his chin, lifting it up and exposing his neck. Not knowing what else to do, he screwed his eyes shut in cruel anticipation of what was to come. OR The SBI take a liking to a certain gremlin child and want him to be part of their vampire family. They're willing to make this happen whether he likes it or not. *warning* this gets messed up, if you're sensitive to darker themes I suggest you don't read, please.

The zombie apocalypse has been going on for over a year now, with new and improved monsters showing up at every turn.
