Surviving the night, he keeps living an empty life. Until he meets two girls, Kochou Kanae and Kochou Shinobu, who show him, that there are still a lot of beautiful things in this life. Despite being a talentless swordsman who can't use any breathing technique, Naoto rose his way up to become one of the pillars, the elite squad of demon-slaying corps as a new pillar, 'Cloud Pillar', the only pillar who can't use breaths.
