After Parent's Day, there was still half a summer to go. Most everyone had been back in a good mood after getting to see their parents again, but Max was still his own self. David thought about this a lot. Then again, so did Gwen. It kept both of them awake for all hours of the night to think that one of their campers had a family that couldn't even bother to sign their son up for an activity, or to show up for Parent's Day. The camp got happier, Max didn't. As he got worse, the others became happier, and the counselors more worried.

David had been worried about max for a while, after the parents day incident he came to realize that max's parents really didn't care. No wonder max was such a downer all the time, but what if David took that all away? Could he really help max the way he needed to? Maybe he could... WARNING: strong language and some abuse included.

Max at first glance is an unruly, unstable, and unpredictable child. He would curse anywhere at anytime, but that was just a shell of who he truly is. This story will be about Max's new life living with David as his son. The new life where they live in a Blockbuster storeroom, in the mall where dreams go to die. At least all the campers live around there too and they don't cause too much trouble......at least he still has David, something Max is coming to appreciate more and more as time goes on. This is a sequel to my other story 'Adopt me, you son of a bitch!'. Fair warning this story is at this point 46,267 words, so if your gonna go on this journey get a blanket, a pillow, and some hot chocolate, and enjoy all the laughs and the feels to come. This is a story about Max's ultimate quest to make David adopt him. Of course, instead of directly asking, Max has taken it upon himself to make sure David says yes. No matter what it takes. This story is episodic, with twelve chapters in total focusing on comedy until the end of the series, when the big question is asked. So don't be put off when it feels like absolutely nothing was accomplished at the end of each chapter because let's be honest, that's pretty much every camp camp episode in a nutshell.
