He goes through some horrible things on his first day but eventually meets a girl who unknown to him would change his life forever.

When Nico's shadow-travel lands him in Gotham, in a dark alleyway, he gets in a fight with the a few muggers. His energy expended on Shadow-Travel, he is unable to fight back.
