Kalamura Fiebenashi's quest for revenge comes to an abrupt halt with an unexpected outcome... This is a short story based off of the characters from a story that I wrote in 7th/8th grade. It's sort of an alternate time line, as this part of the story doesn't actually happen (at least not like this) in the plot, which is mostly in my head right now. I wrote this for an English class, and it maybe was a little bit inspired by the story of Jacob and Esau... more in concept than in plot. A smile crossed Death's cold, skeleton face. "Looks like you're out of a job," he told her. The angel looked up at him, shocked. "I-it's not as easy as it looks," she insisted. [A compilation of short stories that are sometimes about life, but mostly about Death.]

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.

Xirena was just a normal girl, until she accidentally lights her crazy neighbors house on fire. The lady doesn't press charges, call the police, or turn her in but Xirena gets something far worse than a year in jail... a curse. A curse that gives her scales and tail in the night time and when she touches water. How will Xirena conceal the secret of being a mermaid? Read "Sunk".

Aaron is a 12 year old boy who lives in a house on a huge amount of property. There are some strange things on the lot, including a meadow in which he found an animal, a dragon, but dragons don't exist, do they? PS: please comment constructive criticism and inform me about things that don't make sense to you. I know that there are some places in the book that don't make sense to some readers.

Ben and Emily have grown up since Made to Shine. He is now a successful lawyer, and she is running her family bakery. But, why aren't they together? They are both carrying a torch for each other. As God opens doors, will they walk through them together? Or will they remain apart, afraid of being hurt again?
