SOUND OF SPRING tells the story of five different girls, coming together at the famous U.A. High School, all of them with their own backgrounds and stories. Kaori Makoto may have entered U.A. through official recommendations, but her grades weren't anything to be proud of. After all, she just barely passed the written part of the recommendation exam. Can she really pull her act together in time before she gets kicked out of the school? Tsubaki Zenigata came from a famous hero family... but she never understood why everyone around her was so passionate about hero work and all that. Was it for the money? For the praise? Or is it because they have good in their hearts? She wants to know, and perhaps enrolling at U.A. would give her the answers. Sayaka Chiyo knew her dream was to be a hero, but always at the back of her head, she also knew that that dream doesn't always seem possible. After all, she was just smart. She doesn't have the athletics or the courage to be a hero... right? Naori Himekawa didn't have many things that changed in her life. She knew her classmates for over ten years now (their elementary and junior high school connected with each other), but before she even realized it... applying to U.A. was on a scale of different more than she could never imagine.
