But he never gets that in return, he's been beat on, bullied, and stabbed, most of the time over something he had no control over. Eventually he grew tired of being treated this way, and slowly lost his sunshiny personality. In a very unexpected way, Jabarian is blessed, or cursed, with a very strange power.
