One can find solace in the most turbulent times, love in a most hateful world, and warmth in the coldest places.

Love is insanity. The ancient Greeks knew that. It is the taking over of a rational and lucid mind by delusion and self-destruction. You lose yourself, you have no power over yourself, you can't even think straight. It makes you do things you would never understand when you were sane, or to others. You do everything you can, outside of your right mind, to help the person you love. Even if it means the death of you. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This may be a sort of Coffee Shop au, but it is a REALLY GOOD COFFEE SHOP AU.

au where light and L go to high school together. Light is a 17 year old boy in his senior year of high school, he aspires to be just like his strict christian father who wants nothing more but that Light gets married with his bestfriend and longtime girlfriend Misa. But what happens if everything Light knows gets challenged by his childhood bestfriend Ryuk? Why does he feel the things he does for his enemy Ryuzaki? okay so disclaimers: I do not own death note this is just a fanfic, there will be explicit content, language and topics, trigger warnings will be at the start of the chapter if necessary
