His hand tangled in her hair, yanking her head back until their eyes met-his, burning with fury. "Where the fuck is he?" he snarled, voice like gravel and thunder. She shuddered. "I... I won't..." A sharp bolt of pain shot through her skull as he twisted her hair tighter. In one swift motion, he drew his pistol and pressed it cold and hard against her temple. "Tell me," he growled, "or do you want to die?" Tears welled in her eyes as she let out a broken sob. "I want to die... Please, just kill me," she whispered, her voice drenched in years of torment. A storm of rage surged through him. His finger twitched on the trigger. He wanted to end her right then-end the defiance, the lies, everything. But something in her shattered posture stopped him. His gaze drifted over her trembling body, and his fury twisted into something darker. A cruel smile curled on his lips. "Not before I get a taste of you."

He stares at me, watching my hands fumble over my buttons and undo each button. I move it off of my shoulders and let it slide to the floor. My bra is the next to go, I undo it and take that off too. Then I untie the jaw string of the joggers, all while watching his reaction. I pull it down and step out of it but not before my shoes and socks. I'm down to my panties, but it only takes me a few seconds to take them off too. Completely bare in front of him, I walk over and turn the shower on. "I'm sorry that I showed up in men's clothes but I will tell you everything." I open the shower curtain and get inside. The water hits me, running down my whole body. "You need to talk to me too. Because the way that you felt when I walked into your office, is how I felt when I saw you scared on the bathroom floor. I make assumptions and lose the bigger picture." "What's the bigger picture?" He asks. "That we're in love with each other." I hold out my hand for him. "Come in here, so I can show you how much I love you." Shawn stares at my hand.
