Change - The act or instance of making or becoming different. Change in life is all Amity Blight had been wanting. Having to follow her parent's wants instead of her own. Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes. "Keep your friends close," she said before gripping my hand in hers, "and your enemies closer."

Amity the human stumbles across the Boiling Isles when she attempts to retrieve a book she loves so much. After much consideration [3 minutes] she decides to explore the new world. Expecting to meet someone and become their friend, but she didn't expect to stumble across a witch in a tree. Life isn't easy for Luz or Amity. They've both been abused, been hurt, been traumatized. They've hurt each other multiple times and yet they love each other greatly, strongly. Luz spends years chasing after a crush and only ends up falling, breaking her own heart. She doesn't understand what this feeling is that she has whenever she's around. As time goes by the feeling grows. Amity has those same feelings yet she doesn't know how to contain them. She acts recklessly with her feelings and that can get her in tricky situations. Yet she stands her ground, especially when she's with Luz. She's stronger with her, she's better with her. The thing is, who really knows if Luz acts on these feelings.

Luz comes back the boiling isles 4 years later because her mom made her come home now she is back and everyone is a little different from before especially Amity Blight

So this is basically The Owl House but the beta design of the characters act as our main casts' siblings. Also this takes place in the human realm, so this is your typical teenage-drama slice of life kind of story. With a touch of itsy bitsy wannabe romance of course. Oh, and some shenanigans and jokes in-between.

Four years had passed since the death of Manny Noceda. Their mom, Camila, was struggling to get by, never home and constantly in and out of the hospital taking up shifts, the youngest daughter, Luz, was barely ever able to keep out of trouble at school and struggled to fit in, and the oldest, Lucía, was in constant arguments with her mom until she finally packed up all of her things in the night and ran away from home six months ago. The only thing left behind was a letter with the words "I'm making this house worse and worse" written in it. Now, Luz attending a "Reality Check Summer Camp" was supposed to make everything better, everything normal. But after running off that bus to camp to chase after her one prized possession, her Good Witch Azura book, one thing led to another and now she had ended up in some old, isolated, and hidden town named the "Boiling Isles." Everything had changed since the death of their papá. Balancing guilt, trying to conform, broken relationships, and more, it felt impossible. There were lies, secrets, and entire lives hidden from one another, and it was only a matter of time before something or someone finally unraveled it all. "I'll never be good enough for you," she said.

Some secrets are meant to stay buried.
