The way my father would beat me, all the times I would stare outside my window watching the rain drops slide down the window pane, hoping the rain will stop so I can run from that horrid place, the way I would promise I would be better for my boys, for my wife, for my mafia, for me. So I ignore it, I pretend that everytime it rains, I'm fine and it's just another day but the truth is. I never got better, not really. Sure I'm happy but not healed.
