Princess Elara Aviella Monteya wants only to experience life outside of the secure walls of her palace home. While wandering the city disguised as a maid Elara is kidnapped by foreign raiders. Noah has been striving to rebuild the family name tarnished by his misspent youth and a strategic marriage seemed like the perfect solution. Instead, he finds himself married to a woman from a land most of his peers consider savage.
