Back when Caitlin transformed to killer frost she worked with Savitar. They loved each other. But she found out she was pregnant. After Savitar died Caitlin was alone in the pregnancy. After two years she still hasn't been showing or had the child. But when she tells Barry things change. The better question is who catches feelings first.

Barry and Caitlin need to travel to earth 3 to help a friend. While they are there they need to go undercover to the biggest party In the city. While they are at the party they run into Caitlin's doppelgänger, Caity. Caity is the richest person in the city and she is known for partying behavior. Caitlin and caity couldn't be more different. Caitlin is quiet, caity is loud and out going, On weekends Caitlin is at home, on weekends caity is partying. While Barry and Caitlin are at the party someone tries to shoot caity. Barry and Caitlin find out that someone is after her so they take her into hiding to protect her and stop the person who wants her dead. And while they are there Caitlin and Barry begin to grow feeling for each other.

After barry and iris had a fight barry asked caitlin to drink with him as two good friends.That night they were more then friends and barry asked her not to tell iris,a week later caitlin disappeared. This is after season 2 but before season 3,no flashpoint Disclaimer : I don't own The Flash
