Just gonna be a small story. Basically one shots but text version. Maybe small radio version :)

Two weeks after she risked everything to jump onto a moving truck, Lucy is assigned to be Tim's aide. Little do either of them know, their careers are about to take a turn. The two have to navigate their professional and personal relationships, piecing it back together one small dose at a time. Post S6 finale Chenford fic, somewhat speculative of S7. - "Hang on," Celina says, realization dawning on her. "You want me to ride with Bradford and Chen." Grey narrows his eyes. "Yes." "Together. Like, all of us in the same shop?" Celina looks between the three of them. "I'm sorry, I thought I was signing up to be a cop, not to be in the middle of an emotional minefield."

I'm still recovering from episode 18 of season 8 of The Rookie, the season finale and a very traumatic cliffhanger. This story directly follows the events at the end of the episode and writing it will help me get over the trauma and wait for season 9.

In desperation of not falling harder for Lucy, Tim decides that she will not be his gopher anymore. Before he breaks the news to Lucy his plan is to enjoy one last shift together, but it doesn't go as planned and he ends up in the hospital. In worry Tim's mom comes to the hospital and Lucy needs to act like her and Tim are dating when that is definitely not the case, they are just friends, at least that's what they tell themselves. Set around season 4.
