Sequel to Summer of The Good Girl Angelise is now 22 and would have graduated college in Italy if her mom didn't fall sick over a year ago, which drove Angelise back to America. After a few months of caring for her seemingly dying mother the stress of her mother's possibly soon death and the distance put a strain on her and Alessandro's relationship. Angelise decided to end it with the hopes that one day they could rekindle the fire between them, but for now they had to move on in their lives. When Angelise moves back to Italy, her relationship is rocky and sends her spiraling down the barrel of a gun.
