After the events on opening night of East High's production of Beauty and the Beast, Ricky Bowen decides to call Lily. Lily attends North High, and their friends are practically sworn enemies. Most of it is the fault of Lily's. After Ricky's parents divorced and he broke up with Nini, Ricky has been vulnerable. It's not exactly the best match for him and Lily to be together, with her habits of being manipulative. He seems to be the only one who doesn't notice this. His friends, particularly Big Red and Ashlyn, are quickly aware the potential couples would be huge issue. This causes a conflict in the friendship, and Ricky is left torn. He's used to losing people. ~ Follows Big Red, Ashlyn, Ricky, and Lily during the events of Ricky and Lily's potential relationship. Redlyn heavy. Ricky and Lily heavy as well, but they couldn't be any different from the healthy couple that is Big Red and Ashlyn. ~ W: self-doubt, toxic relationships/people, verbal fighting and insults. Clean language, romance does not go over kissing.

The Wildcats' school year is over, and it's now summer. They all miss theatre, and when they find out a piece of information from Miss Jenn, they all decide to do a musical. There are twist and turns in the musical, and there are twists and turns outside the theatre, too. What will stay the same by the end of the summer?
