After Luca leaves to Genova, Alberto discovers new feelings for the boy, his cheeks heat up, his hands start to sweat, his words are at a loss and just thinking of luca makes him want to melt Once he seeks help from Giulia he accidently ignores luca and unlocks lots of insecurities for the boy. Luca tries to move on with his life without Alberto but it isn't easy, he meets someone new and he's very fond of them. After coming back to Porto Rosso will they figure it out? Find out soon! :)

It's the fifth Summer Alberto gets to spend with Luca and Giulia. However, this one is unlike any other. Atom bomb threats are all over the news in Italy. A story that takes place after the events of Disney Pixar's Luca, Cinque Anni starts after our main protagonist, Luca, graduated from Upper Secondary School. From the moment he steps off of the train and enters into Portorosso once more, Alberto, his one special person, is there to meet him. What Alberto doesn't know is that Luca is hiding a big secret, something that could change both of their lives forever.

Being a sea-monster on the coast of the Italian Rivera is hard enough for 13 year old Luca, but finding out he likes his only friend is even worse. He never wants to lose Alberto. Please read the Acknowledgements before reading, it has things I'd like to clear up.
