5 year old Naruto, was running from a mob of angry villagers. For what felt like the fifteenth time that week. As he rounded a corner into an alleyway, he came upon a dead end. As he turned around to make a break for it, he saw the mob close in and cut him off. As the mob drew closer, Naruto closed his little eyes, and prepared for the worst. But when he didn't feel any pain, or hear any of the usual insults, he opened his eyes to figure out why. Only to find that he wasn't in Konoha anymore, or at least he didn't think so. He wasn't sure if Konoha had a sewer system, cause that's where he currently was. His confusion came to an abrupt end, when he heard a deep, booming voice call out to him from behind. "So we finally meet child." Turning toward the voice, Naruto is taken aback by what he finds. A giant orange fox, with nine tails trapped inside of a large cage. "W-who are you?" Naruto timidly asks the large, intimidating figure. The fox studied young Naruto for a few tense moments, all the while his nine tails swished lazily behind him. "I have been called many things." He boomed out in a bored manner. "Demon.. Bijuu.. Fox..Traitor...Tool." His tails flexing behind him as if counting along with him. "But you....you can call me....friend."

An incident occurs, to which Shikamaru stumbles across our favourite blonde, but not the one the Nara thought he knew. This Naruto has been hidden from the world. Hiding beneath the mask that is the no.1 knuckle headed ninja. How the brunette never realised it, was beyond him. Now, how will he stop the blonde from falling apart? This will be... Troublesome.

Naruto was left in isolation to deal with his pain and suffering that he was dealt with. All the cause of the village who detest his very existence. Believing the blonde boy would be better off dead. But after becoming a genin the mask he worked so hard to protect was slowly torn apart with each day on his new team. Even though he wished it hadn't. The human sacrifice everyone seemed to know and hate. The person who held what they feared. Left to be in isolation by force, since everyone ostracized the boy, besides a selective few. He was known as the nine tails jinjuriki. The vessel of a beast. Yet everyone sees only what they want and what they see is a beast in human form. A destructive power ready to destroy the village with a snap of his fingers. So to keep that from happening. The villagers show him what true pain and misery is to keep him in his place.
