||Warning: This is heavily unedited and from 2020.|| I huff out of exhaustion as I felt the small beads of sweat drip down my face, I wipe them away with the back of my hand and smirk. My team is one of the best teams in the world, we're known as 'The Sins.' Our school is located in France, surprisingly we were forced to learn over 12 languages since we played all over the world. Everyone at the school expects us to win, it's always the same thing they say, 'Don't bother to come back if you lost.' I silently laugh as I see the opposite teams' expressions when we got another point, they look helpless and weak. But who am I to judge? We all have our moments where you want to give up, especially when you tried your best. I hear the whistle blow indicating we won the game, the crowd goes wild and my team went to shake our opponents' hands. I smile at them and walked out of the big stadium, we won the international championship again. Did I forget to introduce myself? My name is Aya Kurosawa, Captain, and Ace of 'The Sins.' And I'm going to transfer to Japan for the start of my Highschool life. I hope everything goes fine...

Yuki Nishinoya was set to lead Japan's future in volleyball, until one tragic moment at the National Finals shattered everything. The injury changed her life, stealing not only her ability to play but her memories and spark. Four years later, she's a ghost of her former self, withdrawn, and disconnected from the sport she once loved. But when her younger brother's team needs an assistant coach, Yuki reluctantly returns to the court. Coaching reignites a flicker of passion and unlocks fragments of her forgotten past. As she rediscovers who she was, Yuki must confront the trauma that's kept her grounded. And through it all, she finds unexpected support, and maybe something more, in the boys' coach who refuses to let her give up on herself again. Will Yuki rise from the ashes of who she was, or will the weight of her past keep her from flying once more?
