"Are you going to jump off the bridge now or not?" "Are you going to stop me if I said yes?" "Of course not," "Then, what would you do?" "Probably count you off," "Wow," "Do you want me to count?" "No," "Why not?" "Because I'm not going to jump off the flippin' bridge!" *** Joshua Goldmann was seemingly the perfect boy of the perfect small town, Willowcreeks. Even so, he found himself on the edge of an abandoned bridge on one fateful night. It was supposed to be the end, not the beginning

It's been thirty years since the collapse of the Soviet Union. They'd both moved on, or so they thought. If it wasn't already clear, this is a Sovame fic.

America always had to be the centre of attention, be his cocky self, he needed to stand out - Russia was trapped in their science class once a fire broke out, and America, as attention seeking as he is, tries playing hero. The year is two- thousand, twenty-seven. The USA has collapsed. America is dead. The Cabinet of States has arisen from its ashes. Their very own Countryhuman, Cabi, in charge. Unbeknownst to the new government, a plot has been brewing in the shadows. A plot that is determined to wipe them off the face of the earth. It is something so dangerous, so ludicrous, that only a madman would consider going through with it. But that was exactly what he was; a madman. Russia, driven to grief over America's loss, makes a plan to bring him back. However, Cabi has her own plan that she is willing to enact. One that could rid the competition. One that could secure her place as leader. One that she is so ambitious, so desperate to uphold, that it may drive the world to its breaking point. Violence is coming. Terror is culminating. But hope is reviving. •-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-• Welcome to Darkness of Ours. This is a continuation from a previous book called Light of Mine. I highly recommend that you read Light of Mine before starting this, but if you find that too long, too cringy, or too much of something else, there is an informational chapter at the beginning of this book. Read that. Have a great day/night/morning/evening/noon/midnight/any time! -Amaura •-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-•-• Started: 6-10-21 (June 10th) Ended: 9-19-21 (September 19th) -------------

"Good is such a strange word, don't you think? You think that you're good and I think that I'm good, but we both think that each other is evil." The person huddling near my states whispered. "Who's really right if both of us are wrong?" I didn't know what she meant by that then, but I did now. It only took a lifetime to figure it out. America is a well known, cool, flirtatious, piece of shit. His cocky demeanor makes it seem like he cares about himself above all, but he actually won't hesitate to aid the ones he cares about. Russia is the silent scary motherfucker that everyone avoids. Yet, he can be an overprotective friend/sibling. Get past his walls, and he can be the best friend you could ever have. It was an accident, how everything started. Now, it doesn't seem like a bad idea.
