After Parent's Day, there was still half a summer to go. Most everyone had been back in a good mood after getting to see their parents again, but Max was still his own self. David thought about this a lot. Then again, so did Gwen. It kept both of them awake for all hours of the night to think that one of their campers had a family that couldn't even bother to sign their son up for an activity, or to show up for Parent's Day. The camp got happier, Max didn't. As he got worse, the others became happier, and the counselors more worried.

(Dadvid) The summer is coming to a close and Max is dreading the day that his parents come to pick him up. He didn't like his parents. In fact, he started to have a fatherly attachment with someone else. Also this is not a Maxvid. That ship can hit an iceburg and drown.

David had been worried about max for a while, after the parents day incident he came to realize that max's parents really didn't care. No wonder max was such a downer all the time, but what if David took that all away? Could he really help max the way he needed to? Maybe he could... WARNING: strong language and some abuse included.

Unrealistic I know but please just go with it. After Nikki and Neil help max with his depression and self harm max finally stops after he finds a way to cope. Weighting music. Then they start a band and shit. Also none of the art in this story is mine.

It was the last day of summer camp. All of the Children's parents had come that day to pick them up. Max's parents, however, had arrived late to bring him home. David noticed that Max had been very much against the idea of going home. However, David doesn't think much of it at the time. Max may still hate David, but he soon comes to realize that David may be his only hope...(Yeah uh, I don't know what else to put in this horrible description, so I guess read the story to find out more..?
