Beginning right after the latest Keepers book Unlocked, Sophie returns home to Find Grady suspiciously sad, but never in her mind could she have imagined why, finally she goes up stairs and reads Keefe's (heartbreaking) letter. Will she go after him or honor his wishes? Spoilers if you haven't read Unlocked. But if you're like me and aching to read the next book I hope this fanfic will help you with the wait. "No." Sophie muttered, sure she had to have gotten it wrong. This was all a misunderstanding right? Maybe she'd read it wrong... or maybe it was a joke. Yes. A joke, that's what it had to be. It had to be a joke. Cause this? Keefe leaving? Never seeing him again? If that were true... if this was real... She'd never survive the coming war. ~~~ He was so close. Sophie veut la vérité dans tous ses aspects. Mais le départ de Keefe bouleverse tous ses plans et ses sentiments, qu'elle tente de ne pas laisser la submerger. Après avoir déclaré la guerre aux Invisibles, elle doit se préparer pour ce qui sera la dernière bataille. Mais qui croire lorsqu'on connaît tous les secrets de chacun ? Une chose est certaine : elle devra plus que jamais veiller sur ses arrières et protéger ceux qu'elle aime. Il reste tant de mystère non-élucidés de GDCP alors voici certaines réponses et aventures que j'ai imaginées depuis que j'ai terminé le « Livre des Secrets » et que je dois attendre le tome 9... J'espère que cela comblera les cœurs qui ne battent qu'en l'attente de la suite ! (A ne pas lire AVANT le 8,5)

Keefe est parti. Keefe est parti. Sophie se répète cette phrase en boucle depuis qu'elle a lu la Lettre de Keefe. Il les a abandonné, pourquoi ? A cause d'un pouvoir. Un POUVOIR ! Un pouvoir qu'il aurait pu réussir à manipuler, avec l'aide de ses amis. Mais Keefe est parti. Pour de bon. Il ne reviendra peut être pas. Sophie est au bord du gouffre, Keefe ignore ses appels, des souvenirs douloureux de son ancienne relation avec Fitz reviennent sur le tapis et les invisibles sont toujours là, tapis dans l'ombre, près à surgir à n'importe quel moment. Sophie en a marre, elle en a marre de se battre sans aboutir à rien, elle en a marre de perdre ses amis, elle en a marre que Keefe l'ignore. Elle aimerai mettre fin à tout ça. Mais comment ? Comment arrêter les invisibles ? Comment ramener keefe à la raison ? Comment oublier sa rupture avec Fitz ? Comment oublier tout ça ? Tant de questions sans réponses... Sophie en a assez et elle compte bien mettre un terme à tout ça. Par n'importe quel moyen. Même si elle doit y laisser la vie...

In my opinion, Unlocked was way too short. The ending was so sad, so I decided to make up what happened afterwards. Sophie needs Keefe. The one she could count on. But he left. Because of her. Parce qu'entre nous, attendre un an vu la fin de 𝐿𝑢𝑛𝑒 𝑆𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑎𝑖𝑟𝑒, c'est juste totalement impossible ! Je suis une personne toute bête qui avait envie de partager son imagination débordante et son amour de gardiens des cités perdues. Par contre, ayant un humour particulier et une imagination légèrement déjantée, il est très possible que mon histoire devienne très rapidement complètement folle. Pour préciser, je suis team sokeefe ♡ mais Fitz ne deviendra sûrement pas un sombre c*nnard pour autant (quoique, on sait jamais...)
