Welcome witches ✨ This is a guide to creating your own book of shadows. It's only has a few chapters but it's basically a rundown on how to create your book of shadows/grimoire. Check out my other witchcraft stories :)

The Book of Shadows is the magical tome of the Warren Line of Witches. It is the most powerful and coveted of the Books of Shadows in existence and is over three hundred years old. The Book has been passed down every generation ever since it was created by Melinda Warren in the 17th century. Besides information about the craft, the Book contains many entries on several beings from the magical community, including demons, warlocks and other evil beings. It also contains many spells and potion recipes, most of which were written by Penny Halliwell.

I first began writing this book when I was 13 years old and now I am 21, this book for the most part is spells I've been doing long before I wrote this. I was a bit of a trouble maker and although at first I started using spells others have made I have altered the spells to fit my needs. What may work for one person may not work for another, I hope with this book though you can learn what works for you as well as widening your knowledge. If there are any requests please feel free to comment them or message me. Although I may not be as active anymore I do love talking and getting to know each of you. Magick comes from all over the globe. There is not a culture or people that did not at one time possess a magickal tradition. And many cultures still have an active magickal element. Casting a spell come in virtually an unlimited number of forms. Some spells have words spoken; others may be thoughts. Some use potions; others use candles; others again may involve botanicals. There are many ways to cast a spell. And all are as equally effective based on one core component.... Your belief in the power of magick. Your belief in what you are doing - that it can, and will work. It is about what your goals are, and what your intent is. Also it is important that you pick spells that feel uniquely right for you. This will heighten their effectiveness. If you are not drawn to chanting, or working with botanicals or..... find a spell that works for you.
