Derek finds himself in a difficult spot when he mistakenly sleeps with Stiles. The two agree to forget it, but Derek can't. Before long, it's becoming a regular thing. Now, Derek has to deal with the issue of falling even more for Stiles or losing him all together. Stiles never dreamed of waking up next to Derek, but it's now a regular thing. However, he has to keep his emotions in check so Derek doesn't realize how he truly feels all while keeping their 'relationship' a secret from the pack and fighting the new big bad in town.

When Derek gets a call that Stiles has been found unconscious in the woods, he rushes to the hospital only to find the man he loves more than anything doesn't remember who he is. What's worse is it seems to have been an attack, one Derek could have prevented if only he'd listened to Stiles. Started as a one shot that got a bit carried away.

Being a werewolf makes dating nearly impossible for Derek, so he makes it a rule to not date anyone, at least until he makes it out of college. Keeping a secret that big from a significant other would be impossible, anyways. His rules are all brushed under the rug when he meets Stiles Stilinski, the all-knowing, human, werewolf expert.
