Corey spins around to faintly see a figure in the distance. "Hello?" Corey called out only to be answered with a giggle, "Laney is that you?" The lights flickered on, indeed showing his friend Laney only she looked out of place. He just didn't know how. "Laney?" he repeated even more cautiously than before. She looked up at him with the hugest grin and the left side of her face seemed to be cracking. She giggled once more. "Are you o-" he cut off by a shriek surrounding him. He covered his ears tightly and squeezed his eyes shut. He fell to his knees in agony, he forcefully looked up to see a girl before him. "Goodnight," she whispered with a dark grin. Blood trickled from the corner of her lips. Everything went black.
