Love stories are not very unfamiliar to us, even in mythological chronicles, there are many reverential love stories, however, there exists only one story in the whole mythological period wherein pious love martyred on the battlefield of Kurukshetra. That tragic tale weaves away from other established stories and folklore, It pens down a husband and wife who were allowed to care for each other only behind big closed doors. Why? Because they were entangled in a web of family pride, societal norms and unsupportive fate. The couple is back to complete the incomplete, accompany them as they present to you their epic mythological saga with a modern twist. Join the ventures of the star crossed lovers, as they take a rebirth to conclude their narrative amidst painful flashes of the past. Will the flame of their unrevealed devotion rekindle? ______________________________________________ FIND OUT THE PROLOGUE OF THIS STORY ON MY PROFILE, (THE DESCENT). The book is not intended to hurt anyone's feelings. It is a PURELY FICTIONAL WORK. Mahabharata: Arjuna and Draupadi ( a modern times tale; a Kaaliyug story) Thank you!

Ramayan War happened because of Sita and Mahabharat because of Draupadi. The world blames women for destruction. But how women gifted with feelings of motherhood right from the Almighty, would have felt seeing blood stained grounds? The first one shot is based on Draupadi of Mahabharat dealing with the chaos in her mind after losing the apple of her eye. The second one shot describes the mental pain Draupadi must have felt that led to the decision of having a war.

Disclaimer. This story is based on Vyasa Bharat. Yes the scenes and lines spoken were created by me and I did it with conviction . I took care not to overdo the creativity part but I definitely added my own imagination in taking the story forward. This was the story of Arjuna and Draupadi as per the Mahabharata story. It was the journey of third Pandav and the most beautiful princess of the Era,Krishnaa Yajnaseni ,also called Panchali . I deliberately followed the main story without deviating from the actual narration of Veda Vyasa. Yes I took creative liberty in portraying the emotions, love and the sentiments but I stick to the charecter sketch as given in the Epic. Alert I want to alert those who tried or trying to reproduce my story as their own ...The Fateful Evening with four parts is my creation. Lots of my readers know the fact..So better not to resort to such things..

If Draupadi was only Arjun's wife.. would all the discrepancies of the Great Epic have been sorted out? If polyandry wasn't prevalent would have polygamy worsened the relation between these two lovely souls? Keeping the story quite similar to the original Mahabharat , this story unites Arjun and Draupadi beyond this barrier called polyandr y. However the other wives of Arjun are prevalent, Indraprasth is there..... Just Draupadi is as torn as ever... Can her eternally beloved Arjun get to the core of her heart once more by breaking all the cold walls that she has put up around herself to protect herself from any further heartbreaks....? What follows next, when they finally start discovering their true identities and responsibilities.... as a long buried truth from the past is finally revealed..? EXCERPT: "His eyes comprehended her as an abrupt and blindingly bright streak of lightning in an oddly overcast sky, that doesn't only shine, but lights up its surroundings with an inexplicably powerful aura; spreads a kind of warm haze of light and brightness, that blinds each onlooker, burns anything that it falls on; except for the thunderstorm itself. It charges up the storm, gives it more power, announces its arrival to the world. In turn, the storm attaches the crackling thunder to even its own name, promising it company till the end of eternity, since before the beginning of time. And, it doesn't blind and burn the Earth; because the Earth was destined to receive its power. The Earth relishes in its blessing touch, flaunts the grace of the fiery streak to not have burnt it down. He knew, that was exactly what he was feeling. He was feeling like the storm; blessed to have glanced at her. He felt, just like the storm -- as if she was his companion in the unfulfilled duties. As if they were destined to remove these dark clouds together and let the world see a new day of light and hope." 🥈Morpankh Awards 2021 (Category - ArDi)
