In a shocking twist Bruce finds himself in detention and sitting right in front of town's bad boy, Vance Hopper. They spend detention together, and walk home right after. Though..when Vance sees his father on his home's porch with a gun he decides it'd be better to stay away from home. After one night at Bruce's they start talking, which leads to them becoming friends, which leads to something more. Not my original characters!! People in the town knew Vance had done drugs. They knew the family he came from. Addiction, they knew what he was going to become. It ran in his family, he was bound to inhabit the geane. One thing most wouldn't know about addiction is that, you can't just stop. Your bound to relapse one day, its like a bomb, its going to go off. Vance knew Bruce had little to know idea he had done drugs in the past. He know Bruce thought it was a rumor or one time thing. He didn't know it was like this thought. Only people close to Vance knew it wasn't a rumor. They had seen him at his peak of addiction. When he would go days without eating. Or when he felt so worthless he cut himself. And the drugs, oh the drugs. this book is a little like the show euphoria but different, there will be mass differences in the characters and setting and parents. Vance is a pretty popular boy around the school due to his fighting history so most people are scared of him but Bruce isn't, he likes him. They became friends ever since Vance defended him in a fight with another guy. Ever since, they've been hanging out more often but start catching feelings for one another. They push there feelings aside but not for long.

Bruce Yamada recently moved to Denver, starting school almost as soon as he got settled in, he made friends easily and had a likable personality, but. There was a certain someone who didn't fall for that fake smile act. Vance hopper, most known as an anger issued guy, unlike Robin he started fights with usually no reason at all, usually people just ticked him off in general, but someone could ease that anger, but how would things end?

18 year old Vance Hopper was super into rock, metal, and all that kind of music. He even picked up drums and electric guitar, of course only playing when he was at his best friend's apartment due to his abusive father not allowing any of that stuff in his home. Surprisingly he had a crush on someone. Someone who's practically the opposite of him. Meanwhile, 17 year old Bruce Yamada is in the top orchestra, along with the top of his class, on violin. He's sorta into classical music, but never really listened to it outside of class and practice. Concerts always gave him a kick of energy, but after a while he wanted more, and his girlfriend was no help. She was plain, kinda boring, and was a goody-two shoes like Bruce.
