"Heavy is the head that wears the crown" Ephemera: Nothing is permanent, flowers that bloomed will die in a matter of weeks, before the trees leaf out and shade them. Everything is passing and precious. No empire lasts forever, no dynasty continues unbroken. All that matters is whether we did what we could with the life that was given to us. Yudhishthira. Bheem. Arjun. Nakul. Sahadev. The five famous sons of pandu. An abandoned brother. An unprecedented sister. Traitors. A burning palace. Poison. Humiliation. Misconceptions. Betrayals. What if you had to pick between your siblings who would follow you to death or the love of your life? Who would you pick? Dhriti, the daughter of death. Draupadi, the daughter of fire. The dying embers of a fading fire. Fire and ash never mix, do they? But maybe, just maybe, they can change something and save the five brothers. Or will they scorch anything they touch? "I was ready to die for you, but never realized that it was you who will kill me." A traitor only becomes one if their plot is discovered. The imposition of guilt means nothing to those who feign loyalty. Then, with their own hand writing history, such traitors may wear the clothes of patriots. ~~~~ Join this beautiful journey of finding trust again, of reaching depths unknown, unrevealed truths being revealed, injustice at its perk, love turns to betrayal- an impact that ripples through time . For eternity is ephemeral at best. ~~~~~~ Cover by @Nightfall_21

Disclaimer. This story is based on Vyasa Bharat. Yes the scenes and lines spoken were created by me and I did it with conviction . I took care not to overdo the creativity part but I definitely added my own imagination in taking the story forward. This was the story of Arjuna and Draupadi as per the Mahabharata story. It was the journey of third Pandav and the most beautiful princess of the Era,Krishnaa Yajnaseni ,also called Panchali . I deliberately followed the main story without deviating from the actual narration of Veda Vyasa. Yes I took creative liberty in portraying the emotions, love and the sentiments but I stick to the charecter sketch as given in the Epic. Alert I want to alert those who tried or trying to reproduce my story as their own ...The Fateful Evening with four parts is my creation. Lots of my readers know the fact..So better not to resort to such things..

But when there's already a war brewing amidst the entirety of Bharatvarsh, and neither of them is ready to forfeit, how will Rudrakshi and Pradyumna claim their love? Passion and weapons don't go along, they decapitate the other in half. To what extent are Rudrakshi and Pradyumna willing to go to attain the euphoric taste to love? How long will it be before the princess of Ang and Yuvraj of Dwarka finally get to reunite? :☪: ' Why won't you come with me? It was your father's decision...not yours. You don't have to follow his path, you can choose Dharma.', He whispered those words in my ear as neither of us attempted to move apart. His sturdy arms wrapped around my waist as I whimpered and held onto him further. 'My father may have been one of the main instruments in conducting this mayhem, but I cannot abandon him without trying to make him rectify himself. If fate aids us, then we shall reunite the day when this eclipse will finally be over and the moon will rise, showering its radiance all over us...birds will chirp melodious hymns, and everyone will praise this predominant love.' :☪: Started: 1/9/2021 Text copyright © hazelwolfx™ 2021.
