This is my take on the idea of a Varian spin-off series of Tangled: The Series/Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure. The AU was presented to Disney by storyboarders Kay Ritter and Anna Lencioni who took a liking to Varian's character and decided to create a story for him in his later years; detailing the adventures he might go on and the friends he makes along the way. Cestování časem do Bradavic roku 1944 nezměnilo jen minulost, ale i budoucnost. Hermiona se ukázala jako Hermiona Grindelwaldová, jediná dědička temného čaroděje Grindelwalda. Okolo Hermiony, bylo něco podivnějšího, něž u Harryho, Rona a Ginny. Grindelwald vymazal její vzpomínky, ale nebylo to, když potkala Raddlea, ale až potom, co se vrátili zpět. Hermiona musela změnit Raddlea ještě předtím, než se stal Voldemortem, ale Brumbál nezmínil nedostatky rovnice, kterou použil na cestování časem. Joseph Fourier byl brutálně zavražděn, když dokončil rovnici a když ho našli, ukázalo se, že jeho práce byla chybná.
