The War had ended. All the Death Eaters, including Lucius Malfoy , more or less had been locked up in Azkaban. Voldemort had been killed by the one and only-the boy who lived twice. After the war, they all went their separate ways, living among Muggles and discovering the surprising aspects of their world.
